Please meet Rosalie the Sea Siren.
Rosalie is based on a Monster High Frankie Stein doll.

Her body was sanded, primed and shaded in nude pink tones. Nipples where drawn and I added scales made out of acrylic monomer and polymer straight onto the body in green tones. Delicate non-removable fins where made out of angelina film and very thin wire. Pink mesh forms her top and briefs as wel as part of her sea shells crown. Her body has been further adorned with crushed sea shell and she received a matching mani/pedi in pink.

Rosalies' wig has been made out of Teeswater locks that I detangled from the original tight dreadlock like curl/form they originally come in. The wig has been glued onto the head upon completion and her seashell crown has been secured into place. Please note that brushing the hair is not an option as it is a very delicate natural fibre. She received a soft gentle face up and her lips and eyes have been glossed.

I turned a little wooden box into her keepsake chest doubling up as her thrown. Several tones of pinks, purple and pearl acrylic paints where used. 3-D Water plants where made in the same way as her scales. A scallop was painted and attached to the box forming her seat as wel as several other shells in matching and complementing colours. Crushed sea shell, a stras chain and many genuine AB crystals in a variety of sizes have been used for further decoration.

Rosalie is definitely no toy but a delicate decorative art piece and should be treated as such.
She deserving of a nice spot with an adult collector.
