Verona is based on a from factory hair & make up stripped down Nefera de Nile Monster High doll from Mattel.
She's wearing a romantic 3-piece removable hand sewn outfit in minty blue and beige/ivory consisting of a top, leggings and detachable overskirt. The bodice is laced up on the backside with gold embroiderie thread, adorned with bronze/sandy edging, pearltrim, lace and shimmer Swarovski crystals. The leggings have lace edging and shimmer Swarovski crystals as well. The overskirt is fully lace with side pick-ups and has pearl trim and minty blue ribbon detail on the backside as well as front (closure). Her shoes are slightly modified original MH shoes painted to match her outfit.
Her sleeved underarms have been painted as well and adorned with the same bronze/sandy (removable) edging used for the bodice. I made her a pair of earrings and bracelet to compliment her outfit.
Watercolour pencils, pastels, a touch of acryllics, UV shielding gloss and flat Mr.Superclear uv-cut have been used for her face up. I gave her a soft smoky eye make-up and kept her overal appearance soft by using neutral/natural tones.
Verona's hair has been rooted with a gorgeous nylon blend. Hair has been given a clean trim and some movement has been created. to finalise her look. A from ribbon and embroiderie thread braided headband tops it off.
